I am the Plague, the Pestilence’s Avatar, therefore tremble.

Preyta, who was born in combat, lived to spread illness and pestilence. As a result of an old war between vanished kingdoms, the bodies started to pile up. The corpses were rolled into a deep ravine to fester and rot because there was no time for proper burials.

Preyta was the soldier in charge of watching over this territory. The constant decay and festering corpses, however, evolved into something more as the corpse pile increased. Preyta’s mind and spirit were corrupted by the epidemic, and all that was left of him was a servant of the disease. A new beast was created, strengthened by the rot.

Preyta was aware of how easily and swiftly the virus could spread during a period of war because it was contagious to all living things. The tales of the bards described how the pestilence’s distributor destroyed battlefields. He could show up at any time, on any battlefield, and unleash a vile virus that could wipe out all life.

Even the most courageous people could shrink in dread in front of Preyta. He could destroy any amount of willpower his adversary could have before infecting them with a lethal infection by drawing strong magic from pestilence.

He is the plague and he is back in this world.
