The silver moon is always shining.

There is a small tribe of Afata people that worships the moon secretly. The tribe’s guardian priestess is a young lady who is chosen once every thirty years to harness the full power of the moon. Lindis and Luna were regarded as the two most promising candidates as the time for choosing the chosen one drew closer since they had shown the most promise for honing their skills and mastering the full power of the moon.

But Lindis was aware of the slim prospect. Her sister Luna was superior to her in every aspect. She was highly respected by their peers and gifted, intelligent, and attractive. Lindis, meanwhile, remained motionless in her shadow, ignored.

Lindis, however, had no animosity toward her sister. She adored and admired her beautiful sister. And in response, Luna showered her younger sister with love, who is often shy and reserved. The two sisters had a very close relationship and over time they became psychically connected to one another. Being Luna’s little sister was all Lindis needed. All she wanted was for Luna to become the tribe’s priestess, so she didn’t feel any jealously.

Sadly, the sincere wish would eventually come to nothing. Mganga the Unspeakable had infiltrated the tribe covertly. He started to captivate Lindis, feeding her seductive tales that would lead her into his trap.

He was about to begin draining Lindis’ power when Luna, sensing her sister’s plight, stepped in to save the day. But she lacked the strength enough to overcome Mganga by herself. Lindis became overwhelmed with shame and hopelessness as soon as she regained consciousness. Mganga said with joy and avarice, “I’ll take both your powers.

Luna yelled, “I won’t dare allow you!” With all her strength, Luna unleashed a brilliant energy burst that brought out the best in both sisters and fused their souls together irrevocably. What have you done, you? Mganga yelled in fury and distress as he attempted to halt the fusion, “You would give up your own life and existence for her?” But he was powerless to stop the silver moon’s potential from being completely realized.

Luna got thinner and weaker in the silver moonlight, yet it was her energy that saved Lindis from certain death. All that was spoken was, “Lindis, I’m very proud of you,” before Luna’s actual presence vanished, signifying the end of their relationship. In a flash of rage, Lindis pulled a lethal crossbow arrow and shot it at Mganga. As she raised her blade and summoned the whole might of the silver moon together, she felt Luna’s soul within her. Mganga fled and never came back after being severely hurt and defeated.

Luna, I swear to you. I will fight until the very end to protect our tribe.
