Key Items
The best way to play Mina is with these accessories. Only very experienced players or those with compelling justifications should deviate from a core item.

The Mantle of Ra gives Mina a mix of offensive and defensive stats, making it a good first item. She will also make extensive use of the searing aura of the object, which will be naturally close to her targets after she has drawn them in and trapped them with a taunt.

It may be argued that Mail of Pain is ideal for Mina. When the adversary attacks, it deals some of the damage dealt to them back. This will be a recurring theme for Mina as she provokes foes into attacking her in bunches.

Typical Item Builds

This is a really simple tanking build where we develop Mina into the team’s damage sponge. Both Mantle of Ra and Mail of Pain will strengthen Mina’s defenses while doing constant damage to those caught in her taunt. When Death Scythe and Dark Dominion aren’t enough on their own, Frost Cape will aid her in sticking to adversaries. The build is completed with Gaia’s Standard and Medallion of Troy, which merely provide the tank a lot of resilience.

Instead than concentrating only on damage, this build increases Mina’s strong ganking potential. Battle configurations like Death Scythe and Dark Dominion are excellent because they may quickly surprise opponents. Here, Frost Cape and Hyoga’s Edge are both present, allowing Mina to massively slow enemies with her usual strikes. Her speed will increase as a result of the combination of Gaia’s Standard, Herme’s Select, and Hyoga’s Edge, making her more difficult to escape from. Despite the reduction in survivability, each of these items helps Mina’s defense in some way, so she can still absorb a lot of damage for her team.

Although she isn’t frequently utilized there, Mina can jungle when necessary. Her ganking potential is quite great, and her clear pace is on par with other junglers. When someone is caught near to Mina, Leviathan and Mantle of Ra’s burn passives severely penalize them while simultaneously significantly boosting Mina’s defense. Along with their other generous stats and effects, Frost Cape and Gaia’s Standard assist in hunting down and trapping individuals who manage to evade her initial round of crowd control. The tank will become deceptively quick thanks to Hermes’ Select and Gaia’s Standard, making her much better at approaching foes as she initiates team fights.

This build is highly focused on roaming the battlefield to support allies throughout laning and for joining larger engagements as they start to occur. With the exception of the boots, every item Mina carries enables her to deflect enemy fire as she advances on foes in an effort to drag them over and tease them.
