Core Items: To achieve optimal performance with Aleister, these core items are necessary. It is recommended to deviate from them only if you are an experienced player or have a valid reason to do so.

Orb of the Magi: This item should be your first pick-up as it grows stronger the longer you have it. It provides Aleister with ability power, health, mana, and cooldown speed, all of which are crucial for his effectiveness.

Frosty’s Revenge: This item grants Aleister’s abilities a slowing effect, further enhancing his control capabilities. As a powerhouse of control, the additional slow allows him to completely trap enemies, enabling his team to capitalize on the situation. Frosty’s Revenge also provides him with additional movement speed, which is highly valuable for the normally slower-paced Aleister.

Sample Item Builds:

Damage Build: This build focuses on amplifying Aleister’s damage to devastate enemies caught by his abilities. With an impressive 1728 ability power, his abilities will tear apart enemies within range. The health offered by Orb of the Magi, Frosty’s Revenge, and Holy of Holies prevents Aleister from feeling too squishy, although he still needs to position himself safely to avoid being quickly eliminated.

Durability Build: This build emphasizes toughening up Aleister to withstand enemy attacks. While it lacks a bit of ability power, Aleister can utilize his control abilities and adopt a more supportive playstyle when necessary, making ability power less critical. The build offers cooldown reduction, reaching the optimal 40% threshold for maximum casting. Additionally, Aleister becomes particularly resilient against physical damage dealers, thanks to the 630 armor provided by the items.

Support Build: This build shifts the focus away from damage and transforms Aleister into a supportive force for his team. With a plethora of control abilities at his disposal, Aleister excels at setting up kills and dictating the flow of fights with his pressure and damage. Frosty’s Revenge and Frost Cape further enhance his control by slowing down enemies he catches. Once again, the build achieves the maximum 40% cooldown reduction, enabling Aleister to make the most of his abilities.
