Core Items

These items are essential for optimal gameplay with Zanis. It is recommended to deviate from the core items only if you are an experienced player or have a compelling reason to do so.

Frost Cape: This item helps Zanis stick to his targets, which can be challenging for him on his own. It provides valuable defensive stats such as armor and health, along with cooldown reduction.

Jungling Items: All three of these items have their merits for Zanis. Leviathan grants a substantial amount of health and a damaging aura, making him more effective in extended trades. Soulreaver enhances his offensive potential with stacking attack damage and cooldown reduction. Scorching Wind’s significant +50% attack speed allows Zanis to unleash more true damage-enhanced attacks. Choose Leviathan if you want to transition into a damage-over-time warrior, and opt for Soulreaver or Scorching Wind when playing as a burst assassin.

Sample Item Builds

Tanky Build: This build focuses on making Zanis durable while relying on his innate damage to secure kills. Leviathan helps increase his health as he farms the jungle and amplifies damage during engagements. Frost Cape ensures that enemies stay within Zanis’ reach, while Hercules’ Madness provides a means to escape or turn the tide when things get intense. Fafnir’s Talon is the only offensive item in this build, complemented by Spear of Longinus to maximize his damage potential beyond his base capabilities.

Attack-focused Build: This build aims to maximize Zanis’ attack power for swift takedowns of enemies. Gaia’s Standard is the only item that adds some durability while also boosting his movement speed. With items like Omni Arms, Fafnir’s Talon, and Gaia’s Standard, Zanis can sustain himself in battle without the need to frequently return to base.

Attack-focused Build (Alternative): Similar to the previous build, this one prioritizes increasing Zanis’ attack power. Gaia’s Standard again provides some durability and increased movement speed. With Omni Arms, Fafnir’s Talon, and Gaia’s Standard, Zanis possesses ample natural healing abilities, allowing him to deal significant damage without the need for frequent returns to base.
