Arena of Valor International Championship (AIC) 2021: US$1,000,000 prize pool

Arena of Valor’s (AoV) fifth anniversary is commemorated by AIC 2021 with a record-breaking US$1,000,000 prize pool.
Starting in November, 14 teams will compete for a piece of the $1,000,000 prize fund.
AIC 2021: The 5th Anniversary will take place from November 27 until December 19, 2021.

30 September 2021 – The Arena of Valor International Championship (AIC) 2021: 5th Anniversary, jointly organized by Tencent Games and Garena, will start in November and feature an unprecedented prize pool of US$1,000,000 – double the prize pool of prior tournaments – to commemorate Arena of Valor’s (AoV) 5th Anniversary.

Players and fans of the well-known mobile MOBA game can look forward to an intense showdown between elite teams as they go head-to-head against all odds to compete for the AIC 2021 title.

AIC 2021: Fifth Birthday

The prize pool for the AIC 2021: 5th Anniversary edition is a record-breaking US$1,000,000 for the first time. As teams compete for the ultimate victory, AIC 2021 will hold one of the largest clashes in AoV history with more prize money on the line.

In order to provide fans with a safe yet entertaining environment to watch one of the most anticipated MOBA esports events, AIC 2021 will be entirely online. The immersive virtual idea and digital broadcast style of the AWC 2021, which was hosted in the summer, will be carried over to the AIC 2021, which will be held online.

The AIC 2021 will pit teams against one another in battles that are fiercer than ever because the contending teams have improved over the years. There will be a total of 14 teams competing for a piece of the US$1,000,000 prize pool from 8 different regions, including China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, MSP (Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines), Chinese Taipei, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Three teams from each country’s professional league will represent Chinese Taipei, Thailand, and Vietnam respectively.

There will be four stages in all for the AIC 2021:

27 November to 5 December: Group Stages
9 December through 12 December: Quarterfinals
Semifinals: December 17 through December 18.
Finale: December 19,
