Key Items
To play Astrid as effectively as possible, you need to have these things. Only very experienced players or those with compelling justifications should deviate from a core item.

Mantle of Ra offers Astrid armor, attack damage, and a damaging aura which synergizes well with her aggressive, frontlining playstyle. The warrior is well-suited to all of these stats, which concurrently increase her damage and toughness.

With the armor pierce that Rankbreaker offers, Astrid can destroy weak enemies. As a result of this with her Fearless Charge stacking, the target has limited early-game protection. Additionally, it gives her the much-needed out-of-combat movement speed she needs to set up ganks and position herself for engagement.

Astrid’s capacity to engage is enhanced by the Frost Cape, which also gives her some ability to slow opponents. Her Fearless Charge benefits greatly from this, as the boosted strike deals more damage. In terms of stats, the Frost Cape gives her protection from physical damage, a good bonus to her HP, and a reduction in cooldown.

Typical Item Builds

The goal of this build is to make Astrid a powerful front liner. The majority of these items have both offensive and defensive attributes, although Mantle of Ra, Frost Cape, and Hercules’ Madness all have passively aggressive effects. Even though Rankbreaker is the sole purely offensive tool available, Astrid cannot resist taking advantage of what it has to offer. The lone purely defensive item in the build, Medallion of Troy, assists Astrid with magic defense on the other end of the spectrum.

Large quantities of attack damage are beneficial to Astrid quite a bit, therefore the goal of this build is to provide her with as much as possible while still being quite durable. The Frost Cape is the sole item that does not increase her attack damage in some way, although the slow it offers is a very important tool for circling adversaries. Astrid will need to play much more aggressively when equipped with these goods than she would otherwise, frequently exchanging with the enemy to deplete their health.

Show off why Astrid is the Indomitable by abandoning defense. As you charge your opponents with a Fearless Charge, your attacks will erupt with a furious fury. Her shield will be up much more frequently because to the attack speed, and it will become a large wall of muscle due to the attack damage. Dire Blow will completely kill weak troops and severely damage tanks’ health to round out the attack. Just try to stay away from disabled people; that would be horrible.
