Quillen Hero Item Builds

Optimal Core Items To achieve optimal performance with Quillen, it is recommended to adhere to the following core items. Only deviate from this build if you possess significant experience or have a compelling reason to do so.

Being primarily a jungle assassin, Quillen requires a jungle-specific weapon to enhance his clearing speed. Soulreaver is the obvious choice, offering additional attack damage and a passive that facilitates early kills by dealing damage upon engagement.

Although Quillen always lands critical hits when attacking from behind, the damage output is only 125%, compared to the 200% normal crits of other heroes. To address this, Claves Sancti provides a simple solution, granting 62.5% critical damage (50% from the passive and 12.5% from crit chance) to elevate Quillen’s damage output to a respectable 187.5%. Furthermore, the 90 additional attack damage it offers is highly beneficial.

Sample Item Builds

This build maximizes Quillen’s lethality, allowing you to dispatch squishy targets with ease once Claves Sancti is completed. If you wish to eliminate sturdier warriors or tanks, you can consider incorporating Fenrir’s Tooth, although Blade of Eternity can be a viable alternative for those who prefer a more balanced approach.

For moments when obliterating the entire enemy team is the goal, this build provides a significant shift in focus between Fafnir’s Talon and Omni Arms. Fafnir’s Talon’s passive effect is less impactful against squishy targets (although still capable of eliminating them), but it excels at tearing through tanks, particularly if you can sustain your presence in combat for a few seconds.

Occasionally, you may encounter a teammate who insists on jungling despite your choice of Quillen. In such cases, this build can accommodate the situation. Since Claves Sancti is vital for Quillen, Rankbreaker is forgone initially to prioritize its construction, after which the build follows a standard progression. Blade of Eternity delivers substantial damage due to its passive ability and fits seamlessly into the build. Fenrir’s Tooth is placed last due to its high cost, but you have the option to prioritize it over Blade of Eternity if desired.
